I've been airbrushing since 1993 when I first took a class at Lansing Community College to learn the subject. I went on to teaching the airbrush classes for LCC from 1994-1999. Throughout my time teaching I continued taking jobs painting on Harleys, monster trucks, and doing the fine art on canvas and large scale wall murals. I have done "Smirnoff Ice" promotions and appeared in Airbrush Action Magazine October 1999. In 1999 I moved to Ludington, MI and began teaching new airbrush classes for West Shore Community College while continuing my freelance work. I currently reside in Alto, MI and though I miss teaching I continue to paint and enjoy the "Mechanical Medium".
I have tried as many airbrushes as I've been able to throughout the years of my painting. I used the Iwata line exclusively from the time I tried them back in the mid 1990's. I had not been able to find a gun that worked as consistent and flawless as the Iwata until trying the Grex line a few short years ago. These are an excellent product and have been my choice ever since trying them. When quality and price are both important, the Grex line cannot be beat.
