07. Can I use the tool at high altitudes?

Yes. The tool will operate at high altitudes with the same fuel cartridges. However, as altitude increases, the atmospheric pressure decreases resulting in lower oxygen concentrations in the air. Just like any internal combustion engine, the output power of the Grex Cordless tool is dependent on the available oxygen in the surrounding air. Therefore, the output power will decrease when the tool is operated at higher altitudes. For your reference, the GCP650 can still set 2” 23 gauge brad nails into 2” thick red oak at 6,500 feet (2000m).
